Strategic Assessment and Goal Setting for Benefit Plans

ArlenGroup helps employers move beyond just "buying insurance" to a formal process for managing their benefit plans.

Our experience with employers has proven that there are four distinct phases to benefit program development. We have named this progression "The Benefits Continuum." The Continuum shows that emerging companies have an initial and urgent need for basic insurance coverage. As companies become more established -- adding employees and benefit plans -- basic needs expand into a maze of government compliance, plan maintenance, benefit administration, systems integration, and employee recruiting/retention issues.

To help employers determine the progress of their organization within the stages of the Benefit Continuum, ArlenGroup has developed the Strategic Benefit Index (SBI), an interactive tool to help employers assess six distinct areas of their organization's benefits function. Using the findings from the SBI assessment, ArlenGroup can report on specific benchmarking action steps that are required to keep the benefit function in sync with, or even ahead of, the business as a whole.
