- 25th Annual Western Pension & Benefits Conference
(April 2008)
ArlenGroup presented at this year's
WP&BC conference. This year's theme was "Navigating the New Benefit Landscape" and explored the ever-changing landscape of employee benefits.
The presentation focused on benefit outsourcing
with an emphasis on transitioning from multiple internal resources to a single external source, the human capital aspect of outsourcing, determining if outsourcing aligns with
a company's strategic plans, and best practices.

Ordinance Webinar (January 2008)
ArlenGroup presented a case study and walked attendees through each of the practical steps for HCSO
compliance, including how to build an HCSO compliance strategy for 2008, which employees are subject to the HCSO, how to calculate spend and pay San Francisco for any spending shortfall.

Helped guide employers through a step-by-step process to
evaluate whether their health plan’s security and access
policies for protecting electronic PHI are compliant with the
final HIPAA regulations.
2005
- NCHRA Conference and Trade Show (September 2005)
ArlenGroup took part as a presenter and exhibitor at the
2005 Annual 2005 NCHRA Conference & Trade Show at the
Oakland Marriott City Center. In his presentation, Roger Arlen
highlighted real-world solutions for lowering health care
costs through new and innovative Population Health Management
programs.
- Population Health Management Seminar (July 2005)
Discussion of how a health promotion program is attainable and
can lower a company's medical costs, reduce absenteeism,
improve productivity and, overall, improve the corporate
bottom line.
- Managing Law Firm Benefits Seminar (April 2005)
Provided insight into how leading law firms are responding
to the health care cost challenge and developing solutions
that meet the specific needs of their partners, associates and
staff. A panel of distinguished law firm benefit professionals
gave participants real world perspectives on the topics
discussed.
- HIPAA Security Seminar for Employers Seminar (March
2005)
With the HIPAA Security deadline for large health plans
approaching on April 21, 2005, this seminar outlined the basic
HIPAA Security requirements and gave benefit managers -- and
their technology managers -- a practical guide to compliance.
